Step 01 — Use an existing B&W preset

If your catalog already contained 20 or more black-and-white images when you created your classic SmartPreset, the AI automatically created a separate B&W SmartPreset. You’ll find it in the SmartPreset selection with the suffix “black & white” — e.g. “Summer Wedding B&W”.

Step 02 — Create a new B&W preset

If you don’t have your own B&W SmartPreset yet, there are two ways to get one:

Option A — Kickstart: from 20 finished B&W images, ready in a few minutes.

Option B — Classic: 500 or more images, including at least 20 in black and white.

💡 Tip: Both ways automatically create a separate B&W SmartPreset.

Step 03 — Edit B&W images

Go to Library → Plug-in Extras → Edit photos.

In the editing dialog, choose your B&W SmartPreset and click “Start editing”.

Timeless in black & white.

Your B&W look is now just as consistent as your color editing.
